Who are we? Let’s see.
We're tolerant. We're tolerant of traits, sizes, how you dress, hair color … in addition to your obsessions, compulsions, etc.
We're merit based. We care about technical skill, potential, and accomplishments. We don't care about fancy letters in front of or after your name, who you are outside of work, your religion, your orientation, your ethnicity, or if you wear velcro shoes.
We all have a niche. We all have some sort of niche technical skill at which we excel. All of our niches work together and compliment each other.
We're driven. We've learned to work hard to over come our unique challenges.
We're intelligent. Not everyone who is intelligent went to Harvard or MIT.
We're innovative. We approach problems differently from our peers to create a unique insight and incredible solutions.
We're perfectionists. We strive to meet our performance goals at 100%, even if 80% is the requirement or technically acceptable.
We're honest. We stick to the facts and don't play politics or emotions. Plus it's easier to make good decisions based on the truth.
We're not scared. We're not scared of making mistakes and learning from them.
We see the BS. Slogans, buzzwords, recruiting events that say they aren't recruiting events (yea right), free kittens, no kittens, you get it.
We have fun. Happy hours. Outings. We even have a holiday party!
